Training that inspires minds and promotes growth

About Havit Hall Training
Havit Hall is a fictional care home, created as a place where the realities of care can be explored safely.
Its residents have personalities, histories, preferences and needs. Its staff have different levels of experience, confidence and knowledge. And, just like any real care service, things don't always go according to plan.
That is deliberate.
Care is rarely a series of neat questions with one correct answer. Staff have to interpret information, notice changes, understand the person, balance choice and risk, work with colleagues and make decisions in situations that can change very quickly.
Havit Hall uses realistic scenarios because knowing what a policy says and knowing how to apply it in practice are not quite the same thing.
Within the Hall, staff can explore difficult situations without there being a real person at the receiving end of the decision. They can question what happened, consider different perspectives, make mistakes, change their minds and discuss what they might do differently.
The characters return across different scenarios, allowing learners to get to know them rather than meeting a new anonymous "service user" every time.
Because real care starts with knowing the person.
Welcome to Havit Hall, where care lives in the space between the lines.
